This year if you are planning to throw a New Year Party, you can consider a theme party. The theme is not necessary for a New Year party or any other party but it can add the fun and enjoyment to the party you are planning to organize.

To plan a themed party is more complex in nature than the regular party. The themed party requires more skills and the planning process is very difficult. We shall discuss the process of planning the party with the theme and offer samples for the party and ways and means to apply the same.

The themed New Years Party needs to be planned and you can fit in as much as theme you wish. Once the guest’s receive the invitation they would know the theme of the party. If the themed parties are not very popular among your friends then you can personally call them and make them adhere to the theme.

For the party you may consider to hire a country western band. Here you can go further and hire a dance instructor who can take dancing classes for the guests. For decorations you can place hay all over the place, and use color handkerchiefs for napkins. For dinner you can have the authentic western food. If the party is only for appetizers then you can have theme based appetizers and you can name them in a unique and traditional way.

The idea of serving mini bagel pizza as wagon wheels or mini egg rolls as hay bales is very appealing. The ice cold beer can be served in glass mugs.

The more elegant party can be Red carpet show where the guests are expected to wear the elegant clothing similar to the favorite movie star. The guests love to dress in their most elegant dresses and want to show off to other guests and the host. The invitation can be in the shape of a silver star inviting the guest to join you on the red carpet for the premier of the New Year.

For decoration the host should include a Red carpet in their entrance and the use of sensor lighting which will flash when the people walk over the carpet, this will get guest in the spirit of the party and they will enjoy it.

The entertainment for the party can be New Year Eve award to the guests in different categories and allowing the guest to give a short speech when they receive the awards.

If you are planning a New Year Party, your main concern would be what to serve as food and beverages. The beverages also pose no problem as you can keep lots of different wines, and the hard and soft drinks. But for food the planner has to be very careful and decide what to keep. Usually the New Years party starts quite late and it goes on till the wee hours. So you need to have enough food for the people to eat whenever they feel like. Since most of the New Year party starts late, people prefer to keep only appetizers or sandwiches.

So stick to the items like plain sandwiches, chips etc which are easy to eat are appreciated by the guests at a New Year Party.

The different categories of appetizers can be chosen. Initially, you can pass some of the appetizers and then later change to some other appetizers like some sweets at the end of the party. The appetizers should be enough for every person and some more it should never be less or you will have to face the embarrassing moment saying the appetizers are over.

Finally, while selecting appetizers it is important to consider how you will distribute the appetizers. Either the appetizers can be kept on a buffet table and the guest can fill their plates from there or you can have the waiters or servers moving in the party and offering appetizers to everyone. If you have servers who are going to serve food then you can arrange to serve hot appetizers as the same can be kept warm in the kitchen all the time.

The new year party is very enjoyable for everyone including the guests and the host. If the party is well planned the host can also enjoy the party along with the guests.

1) Availability: The band you want should be available for your party. Usually New Year is a busy time for the entertainers. So, plan ahead and book them before they are taken away by any other party organizers. If band you have in mind is not available then you can consider the next best available or postpone the party for the next year.

2) Price: It is another issue which is important issue as the band is expensive. Most party hosts have to worry about the budget. This means the budget for entertainment is constricted. The band is influenced by the money is charged and therefore you will need to choose the band as per their charges. It means it will be necessary so the band you hire needs to be paid so you will have to think hiring a band which you can afford.

3) Music: The choice of music needs to be conveyed to the band and the band which all the guests will enjoy will be good for your party.

4) Space: The amount of place in the area where you are throwing a party needs consideration. As the band will need space to keep their equipments and place to perform. If you do not know what sort of space the band will require you can always inquire with the people of band so that they are comfortable and can perform well.

When you are hiring a band make sure they are known to the public and have performed before in such parties. You can take references from the friends or family members. You can also talk to the band and ask them to give references and you can tell them to show the samples of their performances. Once you have heard many band you will be able to decide which one will suit your budget and the guests will feel happy and enjoy themselves and remember your New Year party for years to come.
